Red Market In Full Swing In Shoreditch

We just had to return! This summer sees Red Market re-open for business with a variety of food stalls from Malaysian delicacies to authentic Turkish kebabs and a French crepiere (is that the right word for them?).

Red Market again features all the food stalls you’d expect from a food market with the added delight of a beach corner (complete with sand, deck chairs and hammocks), a licensed bar, and even DJ’s in the evening to get the party started. We love the mix and its a great way to spend your lunch hour or unwind after work.

I came across this video last week and had to share it with you all.

So Monopoly has had a facelift and has released The Godfather Monopoly. Play as iconic objects from the film such as a dead fish, a horses head or a can of Genco Olive oil.

Buy up property’s like Moe Green’s casino, Hyman Roth’s Home and the Corleone’s Long Island estate as you try to take over and lead the five families.

And if you end up losing, just beat more cash out of your opponent, that’s the Corleone way

New Jay-Z Rocawear Advert

Being a big Jay-Z fan (because of his rapping and his cigar smoking) I had to share this video with you.

It’s the new commercial for Jay-Z’clothing line Rocawear.

I actually like the jacket towards the end with the ‘Can’t knock my hustle’ embroidery on it.

RIP Davy Jones of The Monkees

Today is a sad day for Cut The Cap as we have learnt that The Monkee’s singer Davy Jones has past away at the age of 66.

Davy reportedly died in his sleep at his home in Florida. His publicist, Deborah Robicheau, said he had a massive heart attack.

Great Scott, Hoverboards are finally here

I’ve just received news that Mattel have announced that the iconic hover board from Back to the Future Part II is to be finally released in the real world.

However before we all rush off to café 80’s to celebrate with a Pepsi and play video games with a young Elijah wood. The boards won’t actually hover, however Toy Fair claims that the pink boards are “movie accurate” and that it will “glide on most surfaces”.

Digital spy is reporting that the limited edition item will be available for pre-order from March, and will be shipped in time for the holiday season later this year. A price has yet to be confirmed for the boards.

There were rumours that back in the day the Hoverboards were actually real but parent groups campaigned against them as they believed they were too dangerous. (maybe they are without a funky 80’s soundtrack to skate to)

“Because this is such a high-cost item, there will be a minimum number of orders required to go into production,” Mattel said in a press release. “If we don’t receive the minimum orders, we won’t go into production and customers will not be charged. The price will be announced later this month.”

Looks like they’ve seen how successful the trainers were last year that were auctioned for charity, and want to cash in on the desperate, crazy Back the Future fans (that being me)

Watch this space for more info, or just jump in your Delorean, go forward in time by a month or so and then make your order.

Let’s hope they are affordable and are available in the UK this time.

Is it wrong I was more excited about the adverts than the actual sport?

Rihanna gets a new tattoo

When I was little I wanted a tattoo of the Tasmanian devil. That then became barb wire in the 90’s and then for a brief moment while in Las Vegas I wanted the Thundercats logo.

But I remember in the late 90s’ I wanted the 2pac lyrics “only God can Judge me” written across the back.

These were nothing but phases for me, but for Rihanna it seems she has taken it one step further and got Thug Life inked across her fingers. Ri Ri tweeted a pic of her showing off the new artwork.

It’s unclear whether its real or not but I suppose we’ll find out next time she performs Here’s the pic. What do you think?

Megan Fox in Turkey to talk Doritos

How the mighty have fallen. Last year she was the face of Armani, this year the face of Doritos.

Got to give it to her… at least she is making paper…..while she can!

Fox was in Turkey to promote her tie up with Doritos crisps and went on the Beyaz show (Turkey’s version of Jimmy Kimmel)

Turkish singer Murat Boz who was also a guest seemed to have taken a liking to her.
