Cut the Cap for Valentines Day

So today is Valentines Day and if you find yourself doing any of the following:
– Rushing to the local supermarket for the last bunch of roses
– Frantically trying to book that over priced restaurant that only serves a set menu that nobody likes.
– Purchase tat from the local card shop that has no use in the home

If this is you, take my advice…cook dinner yourself.

So Friday night I made a perfect dinner for my other half that consisted of fillet steak, sautéed spinach, Vegetables and seasoned Wedges.

And the best part was, it was easy to make, half the price of some restaurants and it was appreciated more.

Making the sautéed spinach was easy, check out this video  that shoes how it’s done.

In terms of the steak, I marinated them overnight using garlic, lemon, salt, pepper and Olive oil, and then fried them medium rare (manly)

Topped with a glass of red and finish off with a MonteCristo Edmundo….Heaven!
