The official Facebook page for “The Three Stooges” has unveiled the first teaser poster for the upcoming film. It features a black and white silhouette of Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos and Will Sasso as Larry, Moe and Curly.
The film will be three, 27-minute segments driven by physical comedy.
Larry David (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”) will play Mother Mengele, the unfortunate nun who runs the orphanage where the Stooges grow up and learn to create mayhem. Jane Lynch (“Glee”) will play the mother superior at the orphanage.
Sofia Vergara (from Modern Family) will also star in one of the stories as a femme fatale who tries to trick the Stooges.
The Three Stooges is out next April and directed by the Farrelly brothers (the guys that made Dumb and Dumber)
