With the world going mad today, and what is expected to be the day with most divorces filed, Call of Duty finally hits the shelves.
Last year’s COD release made over £300 million in 1 day in sales so this one will no doubt smash that.

It is definitely no secret that I am a fan of sim/tycoon games, especially business sims. That’s why Japanese developers Kairosoft first got my attention with their iOS port of their hugely popular japanese game ‘Game Dev Story’ when it first hit the iTunes App Store. Since then, I have purchased all their games on my iPhone(s) and I have to say, they are very addictive. So this week as soon as I found a new title available called Oh! Edo Towns I immediately made the purchase and downloaded it to my iPhone 4S and knew that I had to write a review about it to spread the news.

I’ve just been sent the new trailer for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
Being a big fan of the first 2, the countdown has been on ever since the first image was revealed.
Back in August I got the chance to test out the online multi player at The Empire Big Screen. It seemed pretty good at the time, although I didn’t have enough time to get used to the controls and work out how many bullets it took to kill someone (you know the usual)
Although I wasn’t impressed with the controls as they were very sensitive, however it could be that it just takes some getting used to.

Max Payne has come a long way since Mark Wahlberg played him in the 2008 film adaptation. (Which I actually liked)
Today I thought I’d share the trailer for Rockstar Games Max Payne 3, and I’ve got to say it looks pretty sweet.
This time it’s set in Sao Paulo, Brazil and sees Max Payne shave his head an bring down the bad guys once again. He may be tough but killing people in that heat can get very hot!
It’s released in March 2012 on all platforms. Check out the trailer below.

I have been lucky enough to this week receive my invitation to the Call of Duty Elite beta.
For those of you who have been hiding under a rock are unaware Elite is a new social platform for the Call of Duty franchise which aims to add new depth to the game with the addition of social networking elements, along with tools to help improve your performance and experience in the game.
Major Nelson reports an update to Xbox 360 is ready to go live. No new features will be added. It is believed to lay the foundation blocks to a future update introducing some new features. Pretty dull news really. We want hundreds of new features like the new Windows Phone 7 Mango update.
I’m very excited to see the trailer for this. A – because I loved the first game and B – The Riddler is my choice of fancy dress.
